അല്ലാഹുവിന് പുറമെ നിനക്ക് ഉപകാരം ചെയ്യാത്തതും, നിനക്ക് ഉപദ്രവം ചെയ്യാത്തതുമായ യാതൊന്നിനോടും നീ പ്രാര്ത്ഥിക്കരുത്. നീ അപ്രകാരം ചെയ്യുന്ന പക്ഷം തീര്ച്ചയായും നീ അക്രമികളുടെ കൂട്ടത്തിലായിരിക്കും.(106)
(106) وَلَا تَدْعُ مِنْ دُونِ اللَّهِ مَا لَا يَنْفَعُكَ وَلَا يَضُرُّكَ ۖ فَإِنْ فَعَلْتَ فَإِنَّكَ إِذًا مِنَ الظَّالِمِينَ
"And invoke not besides Allah, any that will neither profit you, nor hurt you, but if (in case) you did so, you shall certainly be one of the Zalimun (polytheists and wrong-doers)."(106)
