അപ്പോള് അവര് പറഞ്ഞു: അല്ലാഹുവിന്റെ മേല് ഞങ്ങള് ഭരമേല്പിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു. ഞങ്ങളുടെ രക്ഷിതാവേ, ഞങ്ങളെ നീ അക്രമികളായ ഈ ജനവിഭാഗത്തിന്റെ മര്ദ്ദനത്തിന് ഇരയാക്കരുതേ.(85)
(85) فَقَالُوا عَلَى اللَّهِ تَوَكَّلْنَا رَبَّنَا لَا تَجْعَلْنَا فِتْنَةً لِلْقَوْمِ الظَّالِمِينَ
They said: "In Allah we put our trust. Our Lord! Make us not a trial for the folk who are Zalimun (polytheists and wrong-doing) (i.e. do not make them overpower us).(85)
