ഇബ്രാഹീമും യഅ്ഖൂബും അവരുടെ സന്തതികളോട് ഇത് (കീഴ്വണക്കം) ഉപദേശിക്കുക കൂടി ചെയ്തു. എന്റെ മക്കളേ, അല്ലാഹു നിങ്ങള്ക്ക് ഈ മതത്തെ വിശിഷ്ടമായി തെരഞ്ഞെടുത്തിരിക്കുന്നു. അതിനാല് അല്ലാഹുവിന്ന് കീഴ്പെടുന്നവരായി (മുസ്ലിംകളായി) ക്കൊണ്ടല്ലാതെ നിങ്ങള് മരിക്കാനിടയാകരുത്. (ഇങ്ങനെയാണ് അവര് ഓരോരുത്തരും ഉപദേശിച്ചത്)(132)
(132) وَوَصَّىٰ بِهَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بَنِيهِ وَيَعْقُوبُ يَا بَنِيَّ إِنَّ اللَّهَ اصْطَفَىٰ لَكُمُ الدِّينَ فَلَا تَمُوتُنَّ إِلَّا وَأَنْتُمْ مُسْلِمُونَ
And this (submission to Allah, Islam) was enjoined by Ibrahim (Abraham) upon his sons and by Ya'qub (Jacob), (saying), "O my sons! Allah has chosen for you the (true) religion, then die not except in the Faith of Islam (as Muslims - Islamic Monotheism)."(132)
