വെള്ളപ്പൊക്കം, വെട്ടുകിളി, പേന്, തവളകള്, രക്തം എന്നിങ്ങനെ വ്യക്തമായ ദൃഷ്ടാന്തങ്ങള് അവരുടെ നേരെ നാം അയച്ചു. എന്നിട്ടും അവര് അഹങ്കരിക്കുകയും കുറ്റവാളികളായ ജനതയായിരിക്കുകയും ചെയ്തു.(133)
(133) فَأَرْسَلْنَا عَلَيْهِمُ الطُّوفَانَ وَالْجَرَادَ وَالْقُمَّلَ وَالضَّفَادِعَ وَالدَّمَ آيَاتٍ مُفَصَّلَاتٍ فَاسْتَكْبَرُوا وَكَانُوا قَوْمًا مُجْرِمِينَ
So We sent on them: the flood, the locusts, the lice, the frogs, and the blood: (as a succession of) manifest signs, yet they remained arrogant, and they were of those people who were Mujrimun (criminals, polytheists, sinners, etc.).(133)
