ഫിര്ഔന്റെ ആള്ക്കാരെ (വരള്ച്ചയുടെ) കൊല്ലങ്ങളും, വിളകളുടെ കമ്മിയും കൊണ്ട് നാം പിടികൂടുകയുണ്ടായി; അവര് ചിന്തിച്ച് മനസ്സിലാക്കുവാന് വേണ്ടി.(130)
(130) وَلَقَدْ أَخَذْنَا آلَ فِرْعَوْنَ بِالسِّنِينَ وَنَقْصٍ مِنَ الثَّمَرَاتِ لَعَلَّهُمْ يَذَّكَّرُونَ
And indeed We punished the people of Fir'aun (Pharaoh) with years of drought and shortness of fruits (crops, etc.), that they might remember (take heed).(130)
